To rent or drive a watercraft, you must be 21 years of age or older.
TENNESEE RESIDENTS:
If you were born after January 1, 1989, you are required to have a TWRA-issued wallet Boating Safety Education Certificate.
OUT-OF-STATE BOATERS:
If you were born after January 1, 1989, you are required to have a NASBLA-approved boating safety certificate (e.g., a boater safety certificate from your home state).

Yes. All boats come with enough adult life jackets for the carrying capacity; smaller and larger sizes are available upon request. Children will be fitted before the boat is pushed out.
All passengers for jet skis will be fitted for life jackets before being pushed out.
Life jacket sizes range from Infant to Adult Universal/XXXL.
Yes. Carrying capacities are based on number of passengers or combined weight, whichever is met first.
We must follow an "every head counts" rule, so infants and children count as full passengers.
For safety purposes, at no time is the boat allowed to exceed the passenger limit.
All boats are equipped with:
A horn, to alert nearby vessels of your position;
A fire extinguisher;
A throw-cushion/floatation device;
A kill-switch to stop the motor in the event the driver falls out; AND
Life jackets for each passenger.
All jet skis are equipped with:
A whistle, to alert nearby vessels of your position;
A fire extinguisher;
A kill-switch to stop the motor in the event the driver falls off; AND
All passengers will be fitted for life jackets.
Yes. Whether you've never driven a boat before, it's been a while and you're rusty, or you drive boats for a living, our staff will go over the controls and how to drive the boat or jet ski.
This is a safety procedure that cannot be skipped; reviewing the basic controls of the watercraft only takes a few moments.
Each craft is different, and the controls may be different or in various places compared to other crafts. Going over the controls ensures you and your passengers a smooth and safe ride.
We suggest "dropping a pin" in the Maps app of your smartphone, should you have one on hand; this is the best way to relocate the marina when it's time to return your rental.
We will also provide a paper map of the lake and visual landmarks for each rental to help you find your way around.
No. All rentals are already in the water at the marina and must stay within the bounds of Center Hill Lake as shown by our staff.
During the rental, the craft should never leave the water, be loaded onto a trailer, or be moved to another location.
Yes. Passengers 21 years of age and above may drink alcohol on the boat.
The boat driver may not operate the vessel while under the influence.
Alcohol is not allowed on jet skis.
